House in Craiova – interior design

The project reprezents a recently built house, owned by a family with 3 members. The clients prefered a design with natural, pastel shades, with optimized storage spaces and an open-space kitchen that is separated from the livingroom by a kitchen island that serves both for storage and as a dining place for the family.

We chose a complementary color scheme with pale green and salmon pink, next to wood and neutral shades of anthracite and cashmere gray. The accents are made with stone textures at the flexible slate backsplash, the wall finish behind the livingroom TV and the ceramic tiles in the bathrooms. In the bedrooms, the aceent walls feature wallpaper with organic and geometric motifs. The mirrors create s dynamic effect, also contributing to a feeling of larger and more luminous rooms.
